OPEN HOUSE: New Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit Line

Plans are moving ahead to build a Light Rail Transit (LRT) line that will connect a large portion of Ward 34 residents directly to our new and expanding subway system. The entire line, spanning 33 km in length from Pearson Airport to Kennedy subway station, is scheduled for completion by 2020.

In order for residents to learn more about the project, I have arranged for TTC Project management staff to attend this Open House to give presentations, answer questions, and take suggestions. It should be noted that resident feedback is an integral component of Transit City and any comments provided to TTC staff will be taken very seriously.
